June 15, 2011

Soul singer Cee Lo Green joined MTLEY CRE on stage last night (Tuesday, June 14) at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles to perform his hit song "Forget You" (a.k.a. "F--- You") as part of a mash-up with CRE's "Don't Go Away Mad (Just Go Away)". According to RollingStone.com, Cee Lo Green dropped in a couple of his own lines: "Fuck you! And fuck her too!" before happily leading a chant of "Cre! Cre! Cre!" Fan-filmed video footage of the performance can be viewed below.

CRE bassist Nikki Sixxposted a photo of himself and Green on Twitter after the concert, writing "Mr. Cee Lo Green came onstage with us tonight at The Hollywood Bowl for a mash-up of 'Don't Go Away-Forget You'."

Green also commented on the collaboration on his own Twitter profile, stating, "NIKKI thanks so much [for] letting me rock with the Crue!!!! A fan for life bro."
